Montana up to 16th in mid-major poll
The Montana men's basketball team moved up one spot to 16th in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, released Monday.
The Grizzlies (18-7) won two games over the week, a 64-44 defeat of the Sac State Hornets and a 55-42 win over Northern Colorado to move UM into a tie for first place in the Big Sky Conference.
St. Mary's retained the top spot in the poll, but the rest of the top 5 was different. George Mason moved up one spot to second, Coastal Carolina hopped two spots to third, and Missouri State climbed three positions to fourth. Former No. 2 Wichita State fell to fifth.
Montana is the only Big Sky program represented in the poll.
